The passion for mobiles by common man has thrown ample opportunities for libraries to create mobile-friendly library and information services. The survey finds out the commonly used mobile devices among students, their purpose of use and purpose of using internet. The paper also seeks their opinion about library and information services, if provided through mobile technologies, and kinds of services, which could be provided. The findings of this survey show the positive attitude of the students of KLE Society’s J.T.College, Gadag towards the provision of library and information services on mobile devices.
