dc.descriptionAdolescence is a period beginning with the onset of puberty and ending when individuals assume adult roles and responsibities. It has traditionally been viewed as starting of puberty, a rapid spurt in physical growth accompanied by sexual maturation, and as ending with the adult life. It is very difficult to point out the exact range of adolescence period in terms of chronological years. Adolescence is the significance period of intensive growth and development with respect to children’s physical, emotional, cognitive, social and sexual aspects of their personality. This is the stage of grate stress and strains. They are said to be quite touchy, moody and sensitive.en_US
